They have two of three table tennis sessions inside the gym. Friday night 6-8.30 PM and Saturday 1-5.30 PM

It seems currently the Plano Rec. staff are taking down all the tables Friday night & setting them back on Saturday afternoon

I am told they used to not take the tables down but for some reason they are taking them down now on Friday nights.

If nothing is scheduled for Saturday morning on that half of the gym, it seems unnecessary work for Plano Rec. staff.

I know they have basketball lessons on other half on Saturday morning

By not taking down tables on Friday night, it is possible to have free table tennis orientation, free group coaching, paid group coaching, paid individual coaching & paid individual training and many other things that can be done to generate revenue for Plano Rec. on Saturday morning before open play starts again on Saturday afternoon at 1 PM

There could be lot of students who take basketball lessons who may be interested in table tennis lessons, group coaching etc.

They can of course take down tables on any give Friday night if Plano Rec. had rented out the gym space for that specific upcoming Saturday morning by canceling table tennis classes etc. for that specific Saturday morning only

I am not going to go into details because I think, as I explained in many other webpages here to keep table tennis as basement ping pong.

Of course if they would be interested in doing this, the current coaching model of publishing lessons in catalog will not work & I have explained how it can be done better in other webpages in this website. But as I said there is no need to go into this in detail because I doubt they will do it.

But like for other Rec Centers, if Liberty can do this , they should definitely use various registered coaches to offer free orientation & free group coaching sessions by many available registered coaches every few weeks as a pathway to finding students for paid group coaching or paid individual coaching.

But since I thought I can make easy for rec center staff (by not taking down table Friday night) while also generating revenue, I thought I will throw this idea out there
